Brief testimonies of calling and ministry experience.

The Calling

In the year 2000, I accepted my call to the ministry, an event that marked the beginning of a lifelong journey dedicated to serving God and others. This pivotal moment was not the result of a single occurrence but rather the culmination of years of spiritual prompting, personal reflection, and the undeniable hand of God directing my steps. In 2001, I was officially licensed as a minister of the gospel, taking my first formal step into pastoral work.
From the start, I possessed a deep love for sharing the message of salvation with others. This passion manifested in simple yet impactful acts of outreach, such as creating and distributing flyers to the doors of homes in the neighborhood surrounding the church. I believed, and still believe, that the gospel is not confined to the walls of a building—it is a living truth meant to be shared wherever people are.

Marriage and Partnership in Ministry

As God continued to order my steps, marriage became the next major chapter in my ministry journey. Meeting and marrying my wife was not only a personal blessing but also a spiritual alignment that enhanced my work in the Kingdom. My wife’s family played an influential role in my development as both a man and a minister, offering unwavering support and encouragement. Together, we discovered the power of partnership in ministry, learning that the calling on one’s life is strengthened when joined with a like-minded, faith-driven spouse.
Our marriage became a testament to the beauty of unity in Christ. We were able to serve side by side, each using our gifts to complement the other, all while navigating the challenges and joys of married life.

Pastoral Growth and Leadership

Over the years, I transitioned from a licensed minister into broader leadership roles within the church. These opportunities allowed me to not only preach and teach but also mentor others in their spiritual growth. My approach to leadership has always been rooted in servanthood—believing that a pastor is called to lead by example, humility, and integrity.
I worked to foster environments where people felt seen, valued, and spiritually nurtured. This included leading Bible studies, organizing community outreach events, and creating systems of discipleship that encouraged believers to live out their faith in practical ways.

Community Engagement and Vision

Beyond the church walls, my ministry extended into the community through outreach efforts, collaboration with local leaders, and initiatives designed to meet both spiritual and practical needs. Recognizing the challenges faced by children, families, and underserved populations, I sought to bridge the gap between the church and the community by being present, approachable, and active.
This heart for community engagement is a driving force behind the work at Ascend Worship Center. Our mission—"Ascending to Worship, Standing in His Grace, Where Faith and Hearts Are Transformed"—is not only a declaration of faith but also a commitment to impact lives beyond Sunday morning services.

Continuing the Journey

As I look ahead, I am reminded that ministry is not a destination but a continuous journey of growth, service, and faithfulness. Each chapter of my life—from my initial calling in 2000 to the founding of Ascend Worship Center—has been marked by God’s grace and direction. My prayer is to remain steadfast in the mission, adaptable to the needs of the people, and unwavering in proclaiming the gospel.
Through the challenges and triumphs, I have learned that success in ministry is not measured solely by numbers or programs but by the lives transformed through the power of Jesus Christ. As I continue to lead, serve, and build, I carry with me the conviction that the best days of ministry are always ahead when one walks in step with the Holy Spirit.
